Ranveer Singh Goes To Chennai For Work, Deepika Reminds Him To Get Mysore Pak, Chips - Uh, She's Every Wife Ever
What '83? Deepika Padukone is rather focused on having Chennai’s Mysore Pak and spicy potato chips; asks Ranveer Singh to bring some home
Yesterday was a big day for Ranveer Singh, as he launched the first look of his upcoming sports drama 83 amid a grand event in Chennai. The actor then also unveiled it on his social media. Needless to say, we all loved the motion poster and it only added to our excitement for the film. However, his wifey and actress Deepika Padukone had some different plans altogether. As soon as Ranveer shared the poster on his Instagram, the Chhapaak actress, instead of sharing her two cents on the film, made some cute demands.
In her comment, Deepika Padukone, for the huge foodie that she is, ordered Ranveer to get 1 kg of Mysore Pak from Chennai’s Shree Krishna, along with two and a half kilo packets of spicy potato chips. “Don’t come back without 1kg Mysore Pak from Shree Krishna and 2 1/2kg packets of Spicy Potato Chips from Hot Chips!” read the actress’ comment. LOL! Kabir Khan’s wife Mini Mathur was quick to jump onto the bandwagon and put forth a similar demand for the filmmaker. In a conversation with IANS, Ranveer Singh had expressed his excitement by saying, “It’s an honour to be a part of one of the most incredible sporting stories of our nation’s history, the 1983 cricket World Cup. We have the honour of telling this story and immortalising this on celluloid.”
